Help me set up my 360...there are cookies involved

So I'm getting a 360, and I want to play online, naturally. The only problem is I don't have a router. My setup looks like this:

What do I have to add to be able to play online?

A router. Otherwise, you're stuck switching the cable back and forth between your PC and your 360.

Unhook the line that goes to your PC and forgo going on Ebaums 24/7 to 23/7 and you can play the 360. Or buy a router.

the cable line goes into the modem, then the cat5 cable (big phoneline dealy) goes to the router, which then splits cat 5 into the pc and 360.

You guys get free modems with your routers? man, that would be sweet. We have to rent or buy our cable/dsl modems.
