You can buy them through Xbox Live, I think it has to be the Gold Membership though. As long as you have your credit card on file with Live, just go to the Marketplace and add Microsoft Points. Or you can go to most stores that sell games, like Wal-Mart, whatever, and they sell the points cards as well. Its like 20 bucks for 1600 points, and different for others. You can get 500 points online for 6.25 and 1000 for 12.50, and so on.

I got a 1200 point card from Blockbuster for like $25.00CAD. They're not cheap by any means. Waste of money.

No, you don't need a gold account to buy ms points. In that case, what would be the point of a silver account? Just go to a nearby store that sells 360 stuff and buy a card. BAM! No credit card needed.

You can either buy the from the marketplace or just buy a card at a local store. They sell the cards everywhere. I see them at 7-11's all the time and at like drugstores. $20 gets you 1600 gamerpoints which can get you alot.

I sell 4000 point cards that retail for 50 bucks for only 40 bucks.
