Ok, calling all detectives out there.
This has been puzzeling me for quite a while.
Hydrophobia (http://www.bladeinteractive.com/hydro.html), a next generation action adventure title utilising a revolutionary new water physics engine, so yes the water apparently flows like real water.
Now the intressting part, up uptill a while ago I thought it was and Xbox 360 exclusive, what with Xbox 360 magazines (http://www.bladeinteractive.com/xboxworld.pdf) writing articles about the technology.
Then sites started reporting it was for both Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. random site1 (http://www.wireplay.co.uk/2007/05/09/first-info-on-hydrophobia/) random site 2 (http://www.gamepro.com/news.cfm?article_id=111928). The thing with all these sites is they lack actual press release information about the game.
Now whats got me ultra curious is the fact on Hydrophobia's actual website.
In a little description about the games the company (http://www.bladeinteractive.com/company.html) is developing.
COMPANY PROFILE
The next generation has arrived, and Blade Interactive Studios are stepping up a gear with ground breaking new projects like Hydrophobia on PS3 - a survival adventure which is poised to redefine what you thought was possible in games.
The transition to the next generation has been an exciting one here at Blade, with World Snooker Championship 2007 successfully making the move to Xbox 360, PS3, and PSP as well as PS2 and Mobile phone platforms, and innovative products like The Hustle: Detroits Streets and Pocket Racers making an impact on PSP.
Why have they left out the Xbox 360 when talking about Hydrophobia? Yet clearly put Xbox 360 after the Snooker game?
Next if you would observe the little flash film on Blade Interactives main page (http://www.bladeinteractive.com/index.html).
"Recruiting for Hydrophobia" - Then the Playstation 3 logo flashes up. Then its onto the next game. The snooker game, it gets all the Playstation 3, PSP and Xbox 360 logos after that.
Conspiracy? Discuss.
Oh btw, this has nothing to do with the Consoles themselves, lets have no bitching about one console sucking and the other been the uber sex, ok, lets for everyones sake just keep it friendly.
