it's not like AWPs are an ubergun; play any game in the Medal of Honor/Call of Duty franchise; snipers are generally a one-shot kill

Well, even though they can be annoying they are a part of the game and a pretty expensive weapon (yeah, servers where all start with 16000 sucks). I actually prefer the scout as it feels much better to kill someone with it and you move faster.

Meh, I don't think it's too bad. It sucks if teams are unbalanced and the losing side all starts in thesame place. Example : de_rats. All CT start in a fridge, with only 2 exits. If there's a couple of T's with AWP's watching, you're fucked.
Campers are always annoying, but an AWP really makes it worse. It's great though, when you discover their camping spot and kill them with a shitty gun.

Snipers are meant to have one shot kills, why complain about them. Like someone said learn how to use one and beat then at thier own game. Go into any other game like mohaa or bf and there will be snipers, just no one complains about them. They are part of the game!!

You guys are looking at it the wrong way, don't nerf the gun power. Nerf the user ablity, ie make the ironsights wobble so its harder to hit people, make way more skill be involved.

yea, i dont like awps either, but i got used to them since they are part of the game. im actually better with the scout than with the awp, never understood why.

Absolutely right, if the whole team is AWP it is definitely hard, but in those instances they are normally camping pricks so in return I camp as well.

Unless you have a prick admin on the AWP whoring/camping team which threatens to kick you unless you move into their full view. This seems to be the normal scenario.

I don't like to camp though. If it gets way too annoying then I just rage quit since the server will most likely not get better.

I can usually find a nice server where the players aren't immature pricks and play w/o being awpwhores or any of the other bad things to do.

I like it when servers have the knifeduel mod that can start a knife match if both players hit the wall with their knives.

If it's one awper and they are in a open area then I'll just run around randomly and shoot them. If it's in a closed area, like the double doors in dust, I'll let my team mate go first, die and then kill the awper before he can shoot again :lol:

I remember when I used to play with hacks and I would turn them off for normal games but whenever some 12 year old with a speedhack joined I would one-up them with speed hacks and my own aimvecs and make them leave. I don't play with hacks at all anymore though but I don't regret using them since they taught me a lot about the game.

AWP's are crucial in Counter-Strike. If anyone plays CS at a higher level (CAL/CEVO), you'll understand why.

I had no problems with AWP's in public servers, except for the ones who spawn camp on terrorist side in a defusal map. It's a little crazy when everyone has an AWP too, so I like servers who limit the AWP's to like 3 per team.

Auto's are just stupid, but they are fun to use in pugs. Once I used an auto in a pug match when I picked it up from my dead buddy and everyone laughs about it.

Don't press W or S, dont jump

Steer with your mouse. You will figure out how to gain speed eventually, pm me your steam acc name and I'll add you for some surfing action

In internet cafes I would play some other game while the majority played CS. Randomly I would quite often call out "No fuckin' AWPs!!!!" and interfere with their game. They get pretty pissed when they find out I'm not even playing CS. :lol:
