Metroid Prime

I just finished Metroid Prime, and I think it was just incredible. Good graphics, tight controls(tricky to learn at first, but once I got them down, they fit like a glove) and absolutely wonderful gameplay. Nintendo did a brilliant job transforming the 2d metroid universe into a 3d world. This is one of the best games I've ever played. I plan on picking up the sequal soon, because I need moar.

i have the second one, and im still on the first level after however many years. i just cant get into it. loved the first extensively though.

it is a great game. i gotta say. for its time it did have some pretty impressive graphics. puzzles were good, fights were good. last boss was incredibly hard

Me either, it's a shame they didn't add Online Play to it. Hopefully they really utilise the WiiMote and 'Chuck really well, I can just see them tacking on pointer for aiming, thumbstick for movement and generally not giving a shit about the other buttons. I hope they innovate it like Metroid Prime Hunters for the DS, those controls were godly.

Gonna have to dissent here and say I hated that game. I held a lot of hope out for it, I honestly did, but as soon as I'd revisited the same area for the tenth time, I was already in hell. My head hurt, my eyes were sore, that game was so bad it actually made me hate children, and wish various unspeakable horrors on those related to the game's developers.

It's an abomination unto all mankind, and all who've made it should be skinned, forcibly penetrated in the orifices by gorillas, and fed into wood chippers.

God how I HATE this game.

well nintendo at first denied online for mp3. But last september nintendo of uk rep. told ign that prime 3 will have online use for multiplayer. Another rep. interupted that interview saying it has not been confirmed yet.

They stated MP3 wouldnt have Online play. SSBB Will have Online play. SMG will have some form of WiFi Connectivity.

To be honest, all I care is Super Smash Bros Brawl to have online play. If it doesn't it will be a HUGE let down for me.

That whole rumor was shot down by Matt from ign.com

Some kid made up that story on the ign forum. Matt, who was at the seattle conference, replied back on the forum. Matt called that rumor bullshit.

So metroid online is probably going to happen.

I agree. I mean, Metroid Prime was great, but Super Metroid wins forever in my book. Nothing comes close to the awesomeness of this game. The only way someone could disagree is if they've been living under a rock the past 20 years or if they are under 15 years old (and thus missed the glory days of SNES).

Sorry, but you must suck at that game to say it has a hard last boss. I didn't really think any of the bosses were that hard in 1 or 2. The last boss(es) in 2 were awesome though, so many transformations.
Some people will probably not believe me that I found both games extremely easy, even on hard mode. But I think it might be because I take the time to get all the upgrades whenever I can. I always backtrack. And you know those places where you see an upgrade, but you need something else to get it... I write those places down and come back to them.:)
