shenmue is the single greatest gaming experience i've ever had. i have such great memories of that game. there was something about it that made me feel like i was really in the game. shenmue II was also great. too bad they never got to finish the story.

But seriously I liked Shenmue and wish they would make another one. Although it was a little to cinematic for me.

Shenmue was ok, but not what I'd call awesome. For one thing, an ending would have been nice. Mundane crate moving jobs isn't my idea of a good time either. Neither is looking for seamen.

I see the game more for it's potential than it's delivery. Could have been great, but really was just ok.

Halo's nothing like it. Good shooter (till that fucking library stage, or whatever it's called), great co-op, and no seamen searching.

There is no comparing those two though, since they are way too unalike, ergo your thread is no logical.

Have Shenmue 2, but it was a used copy which was scratched up beyond belief and is barely playable later on into the game. Not the end of the world, it started to totally crap out at about the point where I was getting bored of it anyways.
