Roswell, GA, May 31, 2007 - Tripwire Interactive today announces the release of a major update for Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45, the award-winning WWII online action game. The update, which includes 10 new maps, increased player limits and much more, is available to owners of the game for free through Steam, Valve’s digital distribution network.

In addition to the new maps, Tripwire released an update to the game engine that enables high end servers to increase the player counts far beyond the current 32 player limit – up to 64 players for the most capable servers. The release also includes new artwork and music, several features requested by the clan/ladder/league community to enhance competitive play, and a heap of smaller enhancements and fixes. Read the full changelog for the update here.

To give gamers a chance to try the updated version of one of the best sellers on Steam, Tripwire is using the extensibility of Steam to offer both retail and Steam customers two free Steam Guest Passes. All owners of Red Orchestra can invite two friends to try the game with no obligation to purchase. Upon receiving and activating the Steam Guest Pass, the invited friend has ten days of Red Orchestra play available for free.

So I have two guest passes, who wants to play this excellent game.

I suppose that I would like to try a guest pass. I loved it when I played it during a free weekend but I wasn't completely sold. Steam name is skater910.

Aww I guess I'm too late :(

This game was awesome, intense shit when the free trial periods came out last year. No one knew what they were doing really, just hiding out in houses or hilltops taking shots at people. The teamwork was awesome when I played, too.

I've looked for the retail game everywhere but cannot find it...

The hilarious thing, is that this used to be a free mod for UT2k4, now it's owned by Steam, and every game manhandled by Steam is a horking pile of shit. Thank god CS 1.6, HL1, and HL2 are untouched.

Any ones that are populated. My steam ID is the same as my username here if you want to play

Steam distributes the game but the same people who made the mod control its content and stuff.

If there is any guest pass left, I would appreciate if it was sent to me! :p
I'm really interested in buying this game as I am a big fan of realistic shooters. Hopefully, I won't be dissapointed xD

Thanks in advance for anyone who sends me...
