Guys, are there any Sum41 fans here? I hope there are - cuz there's a month and a half left to the new album's release! :ahhh:
So, what's your thoughts on "March of the Dogs"? The band is undoubtedly rolling back to their first albums by comparison with "Chuck", regardless of the numerous saids that "Underclass Hero" would be absolutely new sound. For me this is damn great - IMHO, "Chuck" was the worst thing ever made by the Sums although there were few worthwhile tracks. Easy-going pop-punk is the best thing they can do and I think they did it great in their first albums (except for "Half Hour of Power")! That's their niche and they apparently realized it. Of course the band is not the same without Dave but nonetheless...
Do you feel the same or do you think this similarity is bacause of lack of some new ideas? What's your expectance from the new album and what would you like it to be?
