Yeah it is very entertaining. You and the OP might also like survivorman. It's also on discovery channel and its the same premise. However the dude on that show is completely alone and has no camera crew. He has to set up his own tripod and everything. Worth a look if you like man vs/ wild :)

yeah ive watched survivorman before. i personally like m/w better. he shows you better tricks and ways to survive. and he usually does like worst case senario, like when he parachuted into the mountains he got stuck in the tree to show you how to get down. just an example
