Good game, but its having trouble telling the story and directing player so he can explore diffrent choices.. Overall, good bad game but crappy story telling. Just like messa said, half the time u dont know whats going on.

I love this game you guys probity don't get it because most of the game is Russian but i speck Russian and it makes game more interesting,
Graphics are amazing
Story line is a little weird,but it makes the game last longer
If you have a nice video card this game is going to be CraZZZy!
Once you get into the main part of the game there will be a lot of scary parts that will make u jump

i played doom 3 , i gave it 2 out of 5 of scariness

It most definitely is NOT like Oblivion with guns, which is what we were promised. It was just a traditional fps with large open area levels strung together. The map wasn't as large as they said and they removed the vehicles that were in game play demos a few years back.

I'll wait for Fallout 3 from Bethesda for a proper job of this type of game

What do you mean that Bethesda is doing it? Well I agree that it would be nice if Black Isle Studios was doing it but thats not going to happen. It certainly will be better than a GSC Game World version though

As a Fallout fan, nothing would bring me more displeasure than seeing one of my favorite RPGs turned into "Oblivion with guns". I'm probably just being too pessimistic about the whole affair, but eh, we'll just have to see.

Definitely not close to what Oblivion is, but it's more like a generic first person shooter with some rpg elements. Overall I like the game, even though I can't speak russian, walking from one area to another is a big pain in the ass, and it's not scary at all unless you have a mod. It also can be a bitch to run even though the game itself is nothing special. I run it on laptop with core 2 duo t7200, 512mb 7900gtx, 160gb hard drive, and 2gb ram, and it still lags a good amount on maximum with full dynamic range.

Some good things are its aiming system, which is a lot hard than most first person shooters, the story, which is very unique, and the environment is very alive.

The game is not anything like Oblivion with guns, it DOES have autosave/quick save features, and it is not confusing at all.

I don't know, maybe it's just not for casual gamers, but I had zero problems understanding the story or completing the game on normal difficulty settings the first time through. It may take the first couple of minutes to get used to things like anomalies, but I thought it was pretty easy to get into. Make sure you download the patch though, because vanilla is pretty buggy.

It has lots of different finals, the start of the game is easy, no bugs and such, but after you go a little bit further, you'll find lots of bugs, most of the weapons are worthless(AK-47 is one of the best world rifles, so how could it SUCK on it?), the story is non-sense, if you became friend of someone soon he'll be dead(And the most ridiculous of all is that they put the body of your friend on FIRE...), weapon mods are very hard to find(At least the good ones like silencer or grenade launcher)... Well, this game rocks on graphis,maps and variety of weapons, but it SUCKS on gameplay/story/game system. I wish games like Half Life 2 had some graphics, map and variety of weapons like this this game.

The main thing i didnt like about this game was how hard it is to get from one point to another. Fucking long as walks with shit loads of enemys throughout the entire walk. And you cant go around them because of the fucking radiation. Am I missing somthing here to why the people are enjoying the game?
