Is Saints Row Worth Getting?

tbh i didnt like the game at all, its an attempt at GTA that fails, just not enough things to do besides gay-ass missions.

I like it. Not as good as the GTA series, but it's worth playing IMO. Could give you an idea of some of the new features/gameplay elements in GTA IV.

I didnt like it. There were to many pointless side missions to raise you repect so then you can do the story missions

I have Saints Row, and I honestly think it is better off as a one week rental. Multiplayer is not enough tbh.

It's good, lot of customization. There no no 2 characters alike, unless of course if you went with the default settings.

I loved the game. Pretty cool features, like ragdoll effects and gang wars.

Can't wait for the sequel to come out.

I still play it to this day, but I beat it, and I just fuck around now. It's fun when you're bored, and yes, it is worth buying if you are a wigger (coming from a fellow wigger).

Online is pretty fun if your friends play it with you. But even if your friends don't play it, you'll find friends yourself. 3/4 of the people on my friends list are from Saints Row.

Saints Row sucks major balls. Graphics are not impressive, the city is uninteresting, with very little to do. Overall, you are limited to shooting/driving. The missions are monotonous and arent as veried/fun as those in any other GTA game. It tried to have the same brilliant wit and comedic genius, not to mention create a nostalgic atmosphere, but it failed completely miserably.

The only thing is has even on San Andreas is it is slightly shinier, and you can customize your own character. Even that, however, creates a crappy story that hardly pulls you in.

There are MUCH better games to invest your money in.

Oh, and Crackdown also isnt one of them, if you still want a sandbox style gameplay...the only thing that made that game worth getting, is to play it for the Halo 3 Beta and then sell it, and the Beta is over.

EDIT: But I suppose if you are an ignorant wigger and not a real "gamer," then these games will be satisfying to you, as much as they suck.

I dont see how you guys are hatin on the row. I thought it was alot of fun. The driving and gunning was a blast and the mission where fun as hell. Can get repetative though after you beat the main story line but there is still more to enjoy if you beat the side missions. (new guns, clothes, etc) If you like GTA I think it will tide you over.

But than again, there are better games that are out for the 360 already.

I thought it was a great game. My favorite part was throwing grenades out of the car trying to time it just right to blow up cop cars or what not. I also liked calling the wheel woman so I could blow up other cars with a RPG and run from the cops.

The graphics could be alot better, but the ragdoll physics is awesome. I hate how every cars top out after like 5 seconds. Theyre like true life, where you accelerate for a second and the motor stops accelerating and you're going like 60MPH.

Robbing stores is fun; getting away from the cops is alot harder than GTA. Getting drunk and stoned is pretty funny.

My cousin gave me his 360. It won't read any disc, and alot of other people have the same problem. If I can figure out how to fix it(warrenty is gone) then I will definately pick this game up before anything else.
