Anyone checked this game out, i have just got it on PC but when i got to play it get the error message that says my graphics card does not support shader version 3.0 and it wont run. I have an 256mb ATI X850 platinum edition card, anyone know if i can get around this or can i never play this game?

an x850 should easily play this game. weird :/
i want this game so bad, i love all the Colin McRae games
i might rent it from Blockbuster for the 360 tomorrow until i can get it on my next payday.
I'm prolly gonna get this game instead of forza. I just think I'll get more out of DiRT

This game looks alot better than Forza 2 graphics-wise, and it seems like it's a fun game to play for awhile. If anybody successfully plays this game let me know if it's any good.

I believe the x850 supports shader model 2.0. Unless they release a patch, your SOL I'm afraid.:(
I had the demo for PC and it was pretty fun. Lots of bugs, and almost no support for game pads. Not to mention it uses starforce. Hopefully that changed with the full release.

yep.. that and even if it did, the X850 would BARELY meet the minimum requirements, as it's pretty close to the 6800 in terms of performance. It'd be a really nice slideshow, though

Yeah, it might scrape through on minimum settings, provided that there is a software workaround for the shader version.
