Holy shit, I just looked that game up, and it looks fucking amazing. It's compatible with a drum set peripheral, a guitar peripheral, and a microphone, and can be played online. They are also trying to get entire song catalogs of artists licensed for the game, instead of just one song. Epic.

That actually looks rather awesome. They're really extending past Guitar Hero now.

Yeah, but it's also $200.

I dunno about you but I would rather just save the rest up and buy a PS3. $200, just to switch between plastic instruments is kind of silly.

I don't know how they are going to have entire song catalogues if all they have is a guitar, a bass, drums, and a mic. Most bands have at least one song that incorporates another instrument, such as a piano or a harmonica.

Tull, they can just record that on the game and not make it a playable sound. Guitar Hero II does this, you can hear piano, etc., but do not have to play it, it is just in the background.
