A Perfect Band. they rule all . comments?

you pretty much said it right there.

but you should have added TOOL in there too.

Yeah, A Perfect Circle does rule, as well as TOOL.

I like the A Perfect Circle-The Outsider music video...that also rules

I think they are cool, but like I said in another thread about the band, I think it is kind of odd that James Iha from the Smashing pumpkins and jordie "twiggy" from manson are in the band. It just makes is wierd to me.

Wow. Person likes good music, and has >5 post and wasn't flamed for starting a thread. Wow.

you dissapointed? :)

This thread is ok because he didn't say anything too dumbass, got to the point and asked for comments. Also it wasn't a request, I get soooo sick of new users with 2 posts coming in and asking for links to all kinds of dumbshit.
AND this post was in the correct section. The only bad thing is that his name has to do with the topic of the post. I hate that, it means he either has no intention of posting anything else or he is going to always talk about tool and a perfect circle. :)

So Maynard4Pres you get the "I am not quite a dumbass newbie" award for posting on topic, making sense, and not asking for shit. :)

Wtf? N00bs don't get flamed unless they make really obvious retarded threads.

APC are good.

That has to be one of the biggest collection of pretentious fuckwads yet produced.

i find older TOOL much more refreshing and enjoyable then their newer stuff (that includes perfect circle).

im not baggin, im just saying i dont really like the way they've progressed in their past few albums. none the less, i did purchase them, and they are worth listening to.

I love a perfect circle. . . my eyebrow waxer lady was playing some song she downloaded from Kazaa. It was some rare track w/ APC and Massive Attack. If anyone can find it please let me know!! I'll love you forever and ever and ever!!!

I hate Tool a lot.. A Perfect Circle isn't too high on my list, either.

I don't know why - there's nothing technically wrong with either of them, I just can't stand them.

I bought "Thirteenth Step" a couple months ago just after hearing them on the radio a few times. Not a bad cd.

thanks for not calling me a newb. ya, ur right maybe i shoudve inserted Tool as well, but in deed they are 2 different bands, and deserve seperate credit. One of the best things about them is that they change the vibe of their CD's , much like Tool. Mer de Noms, the first CD, has a more rock feel to it, as opposed to 13th step, which is a little darker, and freakier.

Haha yes APC is a great band but my favorite song is Tool's Maynards dick.

APC is a damn good band. And they toured with The Mars Volta, which only adds to their awesomeness.

APC is a great band. A local radio station played "Judith" on Easter and some old lady called in freaking out. Man I dislike how some people are just looking for people to flip out on. Why would some old lady listen to a song on a local rock station word for word, especially on a holiday?

Isn't it true that APC started their own religion?

Maynard4Pres

lol they didnt make their own religion. but ya i saw em in september and they pwned, maynard stood behind a curtain, it ruled

Dude, you just made my night.

Anyways I think TOOL is more catering to my style with the overtone of metal, but I definately enjoy me some APC. Everything except the latest album, the one with all covers, I don't even know what it's called because I refuse to give recognition to it's existence.

I may like TOOL more also because not only is the music more "metally", but I can really relate to their message and their artistic approach to the art with Adam Jones putting out all sorts of amazing stuff, not to mention the connection with Alex Grey.

Damn that didn't make sense at all huh? Sorry?

Basically
Tool = masculine
APC = feminine

You know, I don't like ACP. Although I can't really go off and say its bad music, because it is just my opinion. I do however like one song, and it isn't really their song... imagine... loved how they 'changed' it and love the vid for it... Simply amazing, but like I said, I can't really give them THAT much credit ;)

I didn't feel like reading this topic, but the cover of "Imagine" was a crime against humanity.

Yeh and so was their latest cd emotive.
Horrid emo-crap, it's nothing compared to Mer de Noms or Thirteenth step.
The only song that was worth listening too was Passive and that was a bit too pop-like.

Pet and Judith rule btw and so does Tool.

I didnt know them, saw them live and instantly loved them. They played so well. They were my favortie band for a while, all I'd listen to. They are still up on my top 5 chart.

PS: Maynard live saying "This next song is about masterbating to the thought of anal sex" then the audience screaming "Wooooo!" Was hilarious and awesome.
