I never really used to be into science fiction television shows, but recently i've caught myself watching more than a few. I got caught up in heroes earlier this year, and I'm really looking forward to a show called eureka on scifi...is anyone else watching this. I'm not sure how I stumbled on it last season, but its really held my attention...and i'm looking forward to it. Any other sci fi shows I should take a look at?

Eureka's not bad, it was on here last year on Sky 1.
Take a look at the new DR.Who, you should be able to find them on-line somewhere.

Dr. Who, Eureka, Stargate's pretty good (even though the show ended), and that's all I can think of for now.

The title of best science-fiction show (overall) goes to Battlestar Galactica on the SciFi channel. It has better drama/acting/plot twists/everything than all the dramas currently on network television.

Been watching farscape lately and its a really good show. I'm not really into scifi and was up late one night and this was the only thing worthwhile to watch (no cable). I was actually pleasantly surprised by the plot, character dynamics and action contained in it. The reason I never watched it before was that I thought it would be goofy because of the different looking aliens but it was far from that.

I've never been a huge fan of science fiction but I like Stargate and Heroes, started watching Eureka (and liked it), and I've been meaning to watch Battlestar Galactica.

Yeah eureka is quite good. Another show I'm kind of looking forward to on Scifi is the Flash Gordon reimaging...I mean the track record for Scifi kind of speaks for itself with this kind of thing, and I feel like this could turn out pretty cool.

Star Trek: The Next Generation pwns all!!!!
All bow down to the great TNG!!!! :D I swear, that show gets probably 5 times the viewers now than it had when they were still cranking out new shows. Man, I remember when they still made new episodes, I still have a VHS recording of the last episode. Can't get enough of the characters.
However, I still must say that nostalgia gives TNG it's appeal. I give the new Battlestar Gallactica a 10 out of 10, it is better than TNG, and will have a stronger value in the future. Brutal show too, it's a war, people die. Haven't missed an episode. I like the fact it will only be 4 seasons, I don't think it should go on for more than that; it needs to be like a book, no point in stretching it. Love all the other ones too, except Dr Who is just a little too trippy for me. All the Stargate shows are great, but you have to accept it's a little more theatrical than most people's tastes, and somewhat inconsistent in that regard. But still great!
Quantum Leap was awesome, I remember when that was still new, haven't touched the 4400 yet, Farscape was nice, but it took effort to adjust to the trippiness. Enjoyable.

SG1 is a show i grew up on. i've seen every episode at least twice, and have been watching it for the past 7-8 years. i actually discovered it on accident while looking for another show that interested me on sci fi (ironically i never found that show/movie or its title), and SG1 was on. i watched the last 30 minutes of a show and got hooked. SG1 has single-handedly gotten me interested in every form of advanced/futuristic technology. SGA has some pretty big shoes to fill.

I would recommend Stargate SG1. Good actors, lots of side jokes, but yet still holds it's action. Really interesting premise for a tv show too.

Has anyone watched Flash Gordon, it's been getting panned by some critics, but I didn't think it was that bad at all.
