That really does not make a whole lot of since...

but I agree with you it messes with history a bit. It really did happen but just not like that. I have read a couple books about the battle of Thermopylae and so has my dad and it does relate to the story of 300 in many ways. but seriously what movie doesn't go a little beyond of what the real story was. That is why they say based ON TRUE LIFE EVENTS! simply because it is not 100% true it is just BASED
on the story. I hope you know the meaning of based.
