Not clicking the link, but I had a feeling you were making fun of a band called "Yellowcard" anyway, that band is okay in my book.
Discuss.
EDIT: Since the guy was banned, feel free to discuss this.

It seems unreasonable that people can't promote websites anywhere on the forum. Most forums have a link/webmaster section that allows people to promote their site. And I imagine a perm ban over something like this is a tad harsh. A private message to the person by a mod and the deletion of the thread would be fairer IMO.
Yes, but a fuckload of people join just for that purpose: to advertise. When people join, we want them to contribute to the forum in a positive way, not just generate traffic for their/their friend's website.

Which is why they should be given a second chance. Thread deleted and a warning from the mod. If he/she does it again, then a banning shall commence. If he/she understands, then he/she will place the thread in the proper webmaster section and hopefully contribute to the rest of the forum.
No, sorry. It doesn't work that way. Common fucking sense tells anyone to read the rules of the forum before posting. The rules clearly state that advertising/spamming is not allowed. If anyone is too much of a dumbfuck to understand that, it's their fault.

Why even bother giving them a second chance when they know that doing that is probably not allowed from the rules then they shouldn't be doing it. If they signed up to advertise then they are not here to add good stuff to forums just advertise...

The rules have been the same for a long time and are clearly posted. There are no second chances and there are no changing the rules....there is nothing to see here please move along...
