i really dont understand whats so great about the gameplay of FEAR

it has great graphics, story etc but the gameplay its like basically run and gun

i honestly just run through all the levels running around looking for laptops etc and everytime the enemy appears i just active slow mo and just use my shotgun

well i did play on normal difficulty but idk, i beat it in two days by basically just running around and using slow mo when i see the enemy.

IT IS a great game btw, but to me its just lacking something

I'm sorry, but tribes 2 was awful.

Awfully sweet!

It was released with some pretty horrible bugs, and there's a few that still exist.
I still get UE's sometimes when a tank explodes. And the servers still crash on the rare occasion that lightning blows up a tank, which happens about once every six months.

But the gameplay is rock solid. Tribes 1 is still awesome, but T2 will always be the one for me.

Yeah, Deus Ex is really an RPG/FPS I guess. But it's still one of if not the best FPS on the market. Definately front-runner for best storyline.
