EDIT: Preety lame update if you ask me, You can set a background for your XMB, use emotes in messages and read and type in Simple Chineese.

I think it was a pretty good update. You can set you own background. Use emotes, and eject games with the controller. Wait till 2.0 and you should be pretty happy.

You can also change screen resolutions in game which is a handy little feature. 2.0 is rumored to include Home and personalized in game music and in game XMB.
