Turns out the PS3 Exclusive was originally an Xbox game, they even got to the stages of prototyping it.
Things fell through when MS wouldn't fund it, thinking it was mediocre and the game was put on hiatus or "development hell". After searching around for funds, Sony were there and gave them the money to get themselves back together and then they restarted work.

@Video 1: Wow, Nariko without her flowing red hair? Blasphemous.
@Video 2: O_o looks like it was ripped straight from the movie "Hero" except cooler and more brutal, though lacking the artistic appeal.
I love watching concept videos like these, seeing games in their earliest stages, knowing how they look now. They did the same thing for God of War on the special features disc, and it was great.

What a shame. That could have been MS answer to Sony's God of War.

Meh...its shiny like Gears, but the gameplay looks "meh..."
The gameplay doesnt have the look or feel like Heavenly Sword or God of War where you do or see something and think, "That was so fucking badass!!"
It's still got some time to come out, so we'll see how they improve the flow of the animations and gameplay til then.
Silicon Knights.
Yeah, I couldn't hear you over the sound of how awesome they are.
Seriously, they've never made a bad game. Eternal Darkness? MGS: Twin Snakes? Legacy of Kain? These guys have never gone wrong and have a budget of $100 million that's been pumped into Too Human with 10 years of planning. The games got some time too come out, their dev team is huge and they've never gone wrong before, expect awesomeness as of standard.
