Guys, with currently having no work I'm incredibly bored during the day. Any of you have a suggestion for a game that has an incredible story line that you will really feel a part of?

A game that you really enjoyed, preferably something newer that I have overlooked.

I've tried Titans quest, didn't do anything for me
I have Oblivion and it just bores me

I've played all Blizzard games which is my mainstay, but they're all now boring. All FPS hardly have that in depth feeling.

Get Half Life 2. Good Graphics, a Great FPS and a Wonderful Storyline. This is probably the best game I have ever played.

Then get Counter Strike Source and Garrys Mod 10. These are the 2 Most addicting games I know of.

I suppose I should really say what games I've played, too many to list though.

I can drink to saying HL2 is a good game :) played it to death I have.

Got a Gamecube? Grab a copy of Tales of Symphonia. Great game. Really brings back some of that nostalgia from old school JRPG's, but incorporates a different type of battle system altogether.

Shouldn't be too pricey either. Been out for awhile. Should keep you occupied for around 60-70 hours or so.

If you've never played it, The sims + its many, many, many expansions. Oh god, so many wasted hours building a small shack filled with nothing but ovens, then forcing sims to cook in it until they burn to death..

Baldur's Gate I and II... but that was predictable. :D

I can see why you found Titan Quest boring - it is a straight up hack and slash action RPG.

You might like Sid Meier's Pirates. Fun strategy game.

If you have a semi-decent computer. Try out S.T.A.L.K.E.R for the PC, that game is really damn addicting. There's a few bugs but if you can get past them its worth it. Open ended gameplay FPS, few RPG elements and a survival horror all in one.
