Free Flight Simulator or Similar Game?

I remember when I was younger I loved the Microsoft Flight Simulator games, and I think they came free with the computer or software or w/e. Well, I would love to be able to play a game like that now, but doesn't the latest Flight Simulator cost like $70 or something? I don't want to pay that just for a game. I was wondering if anyone knows of any flight simulation games that contain good graphics, realistic landscapes to fly over, and are also free. I would appreciate any help I can get in finding a game like this. Also, a game with like all sorts of realistic planes would be cool.

Planes are only fun when they have guns and bombs on them! Il-2 Sturmovik, used to play it all the time most realistic WW2 flight sim ive played, when you finally shoot sum1 down in multiplayer its a good feeling lol, plus u can drop a big ass bomb on there airfield, you have to drop it from a really high altitude because the explosion is so big if your to low your plane will get torn apart ( literally), the plane damage is pretty cool, machine gun fire is harder to destroy people with but you can seriously fuck there plane up, holes int he wings etc so they fly like terry schiavo, cannons are way cooler because when you hit they do sum nasty damage!
