Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice!!! I knew it was only a matter of time. Saw a video of someone playing a modified version of Dragonforce on their 360, and it was unbelievable.
I think it was this one, fucking impossible, but then again it's a custom song, not official.

Been long ahead of ya, seen that video so many times it made me want to mod my own ps2 (It was the ps2 version actually). I haven't gotten to it yet, but since this song is announced I might not need to =]

at least it has easier patterns to remember than some of the other songs on GH2, like Six I believe had parts that made absolutely no sense.
maybe it wasn't six, i know it was one of the metal songs though.

Jordan? :banghead:
That isn't really metal.......
But on topic: FUCK YES!!!!!!!!! :D
Even though some of the best players in the world repeatedly failed at around 1-3%, at the intro.

Are you talking about TTFATF? The real chart hasn't been released, it could be harder, easier, or just as tough as the custom made charts. So you can't really make judgements on it yet. Also, this song looks easier than Jordan. Jordan is just a mess of stupid shit slapped together and made to play fast. This song has less notes bunched together but it is faster in a sense.
Jordan is so hard because it has the same amount of notes as the real song, which is played by tapping almost the entire solo. If you can tap correctly in a real song for 10 seconds, you could play more notes in that 10 seconds than you could if you were using a pick. And since you can only strum in GH the song is near impossible to beat.

I thought this thread was about an official Dragonforce game called Dragonforce: Through the Fire and the Flames.

^not really the solos are a little too long the singer would have nothing to do.

<sarcasm> I dont care, I just hope the PS3 version has better grafixs </sarcasm>
Anyhow, does anyone know what the actual gaming relationship between GH3 and Rock Band? Will they intwine or work together?

Or you could just go buy a real guitar and pick up a skill that's actually useful.

I do have a real guitar, but am not nearly motivated enough to become a good player. Thus it serves me as much as it does to play GH.

the relationship is this: the company that put out GH and GH2 are putting out GH3. shortly after it is released, the company that is putting out Rock Band is taking it over and will supply the world with updates and all the stuff that goes along with a game like that. GH controls will work with RB, even though the guitar that comes with RB is going to have 5 extra fret buttons, an effects pedal, and will be 3/4 size instead of 1/2 size. the only thing i can say about the difference is you'll probably only want to use the GH control for basslines and rhythm guitar. RB's company is trying (and will most likely succeed) to get GH's company to make GH compatible with RB's guitar.
it makes me happy that Rock Band is coming out. i suck horrendously at GH.... but i'm not a guitarist, i'm a drummer :)
at first i was kinda pissed that MTV was the company behind RB and will be taking over GH, but after thinking about it, MTV has access to all sorts of badass music... even if they don't actually play music anymore.

You think you'd be able to play it on expert for drums? If so, maybe we could be in a band I'm forming with my buddie. I'm gonna play lead and bass at times, so will he. You could be drums, and we can find a lyric man somehow.

i'd have to practice for a while first.. i am a drummer but it's been about year or so since i sold my kit or even looked at a pair of sticks... but from everything i've heard about the game, if you can master hard, you can play the drums... and the pictures i've seen of the drum peripherals suggests exactly that. i plan on going through at least medium so i can get back into my rhythm, but i'd be down with playing once i'm back in my groove.... and assuming we haven't broken up by then, my gf has an amazing voice.

As long as you can handle on expert =] I'll be getting the game for the 360 so if you have a 360 and live, send me a friend invite and we'll talk some more when the game comes out. My sn is the same as my EBW name.
