This extended trailer is 3 minutes long, has hit xbox live marketplace and yes that is chris redfield. Xbox 360 footage and the entire is real-time with gameplay footage woven in.

Holy Shit, looks like it's back to running out of ammo and running away from enemies as the trailer shows Chris running from possibly 20 or more "things" (no zombies or plagas) with machetees, with nothing more than a pistol. Even though this game has about 6-8 more months of development left it's already looking to be better than 4, watch the guy tumble when chris shoots him in the knee at 1:59, great animations.

Saw this earlier, I got the video from Xbox Live. The above video does it no justice, 720p on a 40" screen is where it's at.

I'm content with the gameplay, it looks like a step-up from the Wii/PS2/GC versions, where you could only pull off a kick, but there's a nice variety in this. Also looks like the AI is alot better which bugged me in the Wii version, where they'd just walk over to you and get their arses handed to them, but in this there looks like some forms of group tactics, which develop into an alright mobscene.

Really can't wait. Fucking 2009.

Im so happy to see that the game will be somewhat like Resident evil 4. Those animations are pretty cool and it seems there are more melee moves and ways to avoid attacks. This game and MGS4 is definitely the games I look most forward to.

I'm thinking the people in this are Rage type "zombies" a la 28 Days/Weeks Later. They try and bite but retain some intellegence. From the looks of the trailer Sherry from 2 looks to be the girl, to me at least. I do hope Capcom takes advantage of Umbrella Chronicles to show us what happened to everyone and get the stories straight. That's one thing I hate about different scenarios and endings in games. We never have proof of who is alive and dead, like all of 3. I want to know what everyone has been up to. They cut to many corners with the series and contradict themselves when they try and explain it. Anywho, the gun play looks badass. So far it looked like these were there

Then add the big ass knife on Chris' back and some explosives and it'll be great. I liked all the weapon choices from 4 but not the way you bought them and stuff. It worked for that game but picking up money and treasure doesn't seem like it'll work. Maybe find some tools to upgrade your weapons, sharpen your knife, make bullets like in 3, etc.
