What game?

I want to get a game for my computer, as the only ones I've got, I've beat multiple times over, and I've grown bored of them. I want to buy an FPS. So could someone suggest a good game? I'm thinking about COD2 or one of the Battlefields.

Here's my system specs :

2Gb of RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 7600
2.8Ghz Intel Pentium 4 processor

Btw I'm hoping to get the game off of Steam.

Counter Strike Source is always fun. So is Garrys Mod, you can get GM and CSS on steam as a package for $25. BF2 is good, BF2142 installs crap that watches what websites you visit.

Dark Messiah Might and Magic is really good, get that on Steam for $20. Live for Speed is a good online Racing Simulator. Its around $30 and you can buy it online.

Just download Steam, setup an account, and browse the games they have. You can buy most games through Steam now.

If you like strategy games and enjoy history you should get Civilization 4. I plan to upgrade from Civ 3 if I don't win it. They're giving away a copy at battleballgame.net if you win at 3D pong.

Counter Strike 1.6 is a good CS game. Yes, the graphics can be crappy, but I think it's actually better than CSS.
