Mega Man 6 was the first one I owned, so I am biased to MM6, but it couldn't hold a candle to MM3. MMX is also alot of fun.

X3 was good (gold armor ftw), but Megaman X is my absolute favorite one of the series, next to X4 (playing as black-armor Zero is the shite!).

It was simple, the music is memorable, and the Hadoken code is awesome.

i only have MM1 for NES. it's pretty hard but entertaining. never got really deep in to the MM series.
