It's that time again. A video I created made the homepage and I'm just making sure that I won't be scammed out of my check.
I hear a lot of stories about how ebaumsworld.com is stealing material and I am just making sure that I'm not one of them.
some information would be helpful, such as which video you created and proof that you created it....

Let's see...is it not Ebaumsworld's job to determine that based on ACCOUNT INFORMATION?
But, if you want information....
It's the "Wife Prank" video from Wednesday, July 27.
...why don't you look at the account info of the guy who submitted the original? You'll see our emails match up. I'm not trying to scam anybody here.
What do you want for proof?
Wow, you're a real smart ass for someone looking to get paid...
I figured it would be quicker if I just asked you, vs scouring through hundreds of submissions. Sorry to inconvenience you...
For acceptable proof, I will need you to record another video of yourself stating that you are the author of the wife prank clip, and showing the spot you actually recorded the video at, for example, the kitchen and stove area in that video. You can then upload it to the site, or email it to me.

That's really sad that you are asking this person to do this. What if he recorded a car accident or a weird occurrence from another part of the country or world. Does that mean he would have to go back there to prove he made the video?
You certainly do not explain anything at the submit page.
It's really sad that us fans have to go to so much to add to your website. It's too bad that 80% of your content has been posted on other websites first.

How hard is it for you to turn the cam to you after you record it, and say your name, and your name on the site, and state that the vid is for ebaums? 5 seconds work

If you saw the video he's referring to- it'd be pretty difficult to "turn the cam to you after you record it, and say your name, and your name on the site, and state that the vid is for ebaums?" Seeing as how the guy in the video knocked himself out, supposedly!
