Well the first preseason game is coming up very shortly so we might as well start up the official thread. I'm not going to be able to see the Steelers/Saints game because the fucks took off my NFL network and I'm going to be on vacation so no matter what I'm fucked.
Anyway, I was at the Steelers training camp the other day. Few notes for Steeler fans. Woodley looked dominating. He needed double teamed almost every snap, the only way Starks could hold him is if he blatently held his facemask, dude is insane and I think he'll have a tremendous rookie year.
Timmons is starting to resemble Alonzo Jackson for being one of the biggest Steeler busts. He doesn't push himself, injury after injury, to quote him he wants to "pace himself", also reports are saying that the days he did practice he was basically lost, like Alonzo. Ryan Clark is the cheapest bastard known to man. I know he's competing for a starting job with 2 other guys (one of which is better in Anthony Smith), so I don't know if he was trying to impress the coaches but he kept having cheap shot after cheap shot. After one drill the play was over and the whistle was obviously blown. Right after that Clark leveled a defenseless Willie Reid to the ground like a bitch because he kept getting beat almost every drill. Pussy...Anthony Smith better get the starting job at FS, that's all I need to say.
As far as the receiving core goes one guy that really stood out to me was Willie Reid, our punt and kick return specialist, also receiver. Look for him to perhaps compete for the slot with Cedric the Unentertainer Wilson.
Also, Sepulveda was basically bigger then 3/4's of our linebackers.
