Tragic news about ebaum!

I saw this breaking news article on www.baltimoresun.com.

CHESTERTOWN – A man was killed in a motorcycle accident Sunday on Hwy 213, and Maryland State Police have identified the man as Eric Bauman from Rochester, NY. The man was traveling with two motorcyclists, Daniel Codoma, 29, of Rochester, NY and Jeremy Smith, 24, of Lebanon. Bauman was riding west on Hwy 213 in Chesterville near the town line at about 7:20 p.m. July 4. While taking a right-hand curve he lost control of his vehicle. The motorcycle and the driver slid into the eastbound lane. William Huyer, 49, of Westville, was driving his 1997 GMC pickup truck in the eastbound lane, and ran over Bauman and his motorcycle as they slid. Bauman received massive injuries from the impact and weight of the truck. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Codoma and Smith collided but did not hit the truck. Smith was transported to the city's medical center to be treated for minor leg injuries. The accident is under investigation. Codoma told state police that Eric Bauman was the creator of a popular internet humor site. Further details will be released later in the investigation.

You know I used to be on a great wieght lifting forum for like 5 years.

I went into that forum damn near everyday and contributed quite a bit to it. Then one day the rumors started that the owner was killed in Cali in a car wreck.

Everybody freaked at first because that forum was a no bullshit forum. Either you fit in quickly or you were banned. It was also a big board and is well known by all on the other boards.

Well the rumor turned out to be true, the owner was killed on his way to work the day before. The board went down about a week later after the family pulled the plug on it.

I miss that board and even though we all found new body building boards, nothing will ever compare. This happened like 5 months ago.
