350z, definitely not a IS300 fan...

Now the Is250/350s are nice looking (but more $$)

I would also look at the g35's. I little bit more than the 350z but in my opinion, just as nice. They have a backseat (while its small it will fit people if need be), and they are a little bit fancier on the inside. The ride is a bit smoother, even though both cars ride like GT cars. The speed is not that much of a difference. If you are even a remotely good driver you will be very close to the 350z. While most people would not agree to this statement, I have seen this happen MANY times. I know the people personally and none of them were crappy drivers. Another plus to the G35 is you still get the same respect as the 350z drivers get. I usually park away from people since I hate door dings, but most of the time I come out of where I am going (Wal-mart, the Mall, etc) there are 350z's or G35's parked next to me. Which in my opinion, is pretty neat. I hope that helps.

Any reason why you picked a 350z with a park bench spoiler?

I was listening to the radio today. G35 is the WORST CAR for repairs in a 6mph 'crash'. Several cars were tested at a >7mph 'crash' and a damage assessment was taken. The G35 had $14,000 dollars worth of damage for what I would call a simple bump.

I like the G35, don't get me wrong. But I love the coupe. Some kid with a turbo 350z wants to race my Stock C5 Vette. I think I'd take him, but I still like and respect his car. It's gorgeous.

as a vette driver you'll feel more at home in the 350z, the IS is probably going to be more reliable in the long run since no one really knows how the VQ is going to end up... 350 sounds gnarlier tho

I definitely suggest reconsidering the IS300. It really is just an all around childish car. I absoultely hate them...

It's too expensive. I want to free some cash up. I want to put 15k back in the bank and toss the other 15k at a decent car that looks just as nice.

I've been pulled over like 5x already now too...

What do you mean 'no one really knows how the VQ is going to end up...'? The VQ engine is very reliable and has been rated one of the top 10 engines numerous years since it's USA release in 1994.

Agreed. Lexus > Mercedes.
