Summary of Acquisition Terms

Under the terms of the acquisition, which is expected to close later this year, HandHeld will pay $17.5 million for eBaum's World at closing, including $15.0 million in cash, $5.0 million in common stock, which is subject to a $2.5 million one-year hold-back based on achievement of certain financial targets. In addition, HandHeld may pay earn-outs of up to $32.5 million ($17.5 million in stock and $15.0 million in cash) over three years to the owners of eBaum's World, dependent on the achievement of certain financial and operational milestones of the purchased business.

For the original owners I would have to say good luck and I hope your happy about selling it. I thought ebaums would see for at least 26 Million though

Am I getting fired?! :ohnoes:

No, but I think we have to wear shirts with name tags and start and end each sentence with "sir"....

Is Eric going to still have a hand in operating the site (like Tom and Myspace), or will there be new people?

Well, how bad could that be?
Almost as bad as having to ask, "Would you like fries with that?"

Will I ever get to edit polls?

I believe the answer to that question contains the words "hell" and "freezes", cunningly contsrude together in a verbal maelstrom of insanity and bewilderment. Or was that my time in the womb?

Well, how bad could that be?

I have sensitive skin...

So did ebaumsworldsucks win?

Founded in 1998, eBaum's World (www.eBaumsWorld.com) is one of the oldest and most successful user-generated content (UGC) sites in the world, generating approximately $5.2 million in revenue and $1.6 million in net income before income taxes in 2006. During the last 12 months, eBaum's World served more than 2.5 billion unique page views and video streams, with an average time on site per user visit of more than 10 minutes.

No, not on my watch.

So did ebaumsworldsucks win?

No I don't think so. Eric has enough money to buy a big mansion and go on vacations for the rest of his life. The only way it would be a loss if ebaums got shut down or hacked then ebaums would loss.

SO EBAUMS IS RICH, EBAUMS WON.

Not necessarily. Wealth does not ALWAYS equal happiness. Fool.

But wealth 99.999% of the time indicates success from a business standpoint. Eric was trying to make a successful website. Eric is rich. Eric wins.
