Agreed
Blizzaks for sure. The most common Blizzaks would be the WS-50, but if you want more on-road performance also, then you can opt for the Blizzak LM-22 or LM-25 winter tires. Although the LM tires are still great winter tires (so I hear), they don't quite match up to the WS_50's performance in the deep snow and ice. Any Blizzak would be a good choice IMO.

You got me thinking about snow tires now...so I did a little refresher course on snow tires...I found some interesting information from a Sweedish magazine called Aftonbladet. They tested a bunch of winter tires and came up with some interesting results!!
It's in PDF format so I hope you've got software like Adobe Acrobat Reader - if you don't then shoot yourself.

I hope you can translate some Sweedish lol
^^ Shows that Blizzaks aren't the best there is when it comes to snow tires.

yeah ive heard the bilzzaks arent that great. ive heard alot of great things about those nokian tires though, i have nokian all seasons on my car now and they kinda suck, but i guess those nokian hakapellitas are really good, i think thats what im leaning towards.
i also know of a place nearby that sells rally tires in my size, i dont know about snow rally tires, but that would be pretty sweet

Trust me, Blizzaks are bad ass snow tires...make no mistake about it. I'm just stating that apparently they aren't the absolute best there is nowdays. But if you had to "settle" with Blizzaks, I can guarantee you would be very pleased with the performance of the WS-50s.
