Whats a 1979 Firebird worth with a straight body and minimal body rust. I don't really know anything at all about the engine, except that it turns over.

I'd say $3-500, they are pretty common around here, and they didn't come with any engine that was worth a shit, so whatever is in there would be coming out if I had it.

Wait, I take that back, if it had a 403 Olds it would stay, I can work with that. I would be willing to pay maybe $1-200 more for a 403 car, even more if it is 4 speed.

I bought a '78 trans am for $4500 with a good body in running condition. If no rust at all, ie the car is mostly mint, you can pay up to double that. It really depends. Would need pics up close and all the details. It's probably worth near $3000 depending on how much body work is needed.
