I'd been hunting online for a good deal, people asking 350-450 bucks...Than I ask my friend that lives 2 minutes away from me if he wanted to sell his...

He said yes...210 bucks for Premium system,2 controlers(1 wireless) and the head set... But no games (Maybe 2 but they don't work right they got all scratched) Pretty good deal.

I'll have to save for a little bit to get a game but I'll download a couple demos...

How's the whole online thing work though, how do you pay? And do you have to wait long for it to kick in?

Also what do I need to play online, other than my internet modem thing...

For internet access, you just need a modem, or whatever, and an ethernet cord that came with the xbox.

You can either sign up to play online w/ a credit card or go to Best Buy and get a prepaid subscription card (roughly $5 a month). You just go to xbox live marketplace, enter the number you got on the card, and you immediately can play online.

or you can mod it and play on the free network (not compatible with xbox live players)

live is the best thing about Xbox. im not into single player that much but live more than makes up for it..

when i bought my xbox i thought i would get bored of it pretty quickly but it keeps getting better. iv been playing Battlefield 2 online and its great. i wasn't expecting much compared to the PC version buts its pretty fun.
