If you could wipe out your memory of a computer/video game, thus being able to play it all over again as if it were your first time,
What game would you pick?
Why?
I'd probably go for Star Wars: Knight of the Old Republic (Xbox)
because of the awesome atmosphere and amazing storyline (especially when you find out who Revan is, I almost had a heart attack:p )
Your turn, GO!

I agree with the Metal Gear Series, but Final Fantasy VIII? VII and X were good, VIII just sucked.
w/e, your opinion I guess.

Either Guild Wars or Warcraft III (and the expansion). Both of them started with small, humble missions but grew into epic quests to save the entire world.

I'm fully aware that it's not a good game, but I didn't really ever properly play the other series, VIII was the only one familiar to me, and I found the storyline\cinematics mindbogglingly good, because it was the first instance when a game affected my emotions.

Aah man, im putting that in my sig.
On the subject, I would like to have either Silent hill 3 or 4 erased. Before playing these games I spoiled the hell out them by looking at info on the net so I knew a lot about them before playing though I bought them on the day of their release. This sucks cause especially Silent Hill 3 would be an amazing experience when you know nothing about what happens or what to expect.

Definently God of War
The story is awesome, and seeing the kills for the first time is amazing.

Morrowind. It was as fun as shit to run around not knowing what the fuck to do without any knowledge of the storyline or setting with my only direction being the bigass map that came with the game of the year edition, and eventually having my shit ruined by a cliff racer.
Either that or Black and White, I loved the novelty of being able to throw some poor schmuck over a mountain at 200 miles per hour.

Ok, not strictly a single game, but I'd say the Silent Hill series. I'd like to forget 1, 2 and 3 in terms of story, scenarios, enemies and puzzles, as playing them for the first time was amazing and I'd love to be able to relive that. I'd like to forget 4 (or The Room) because I can't stand it and for me, it ruined the entire series.

Super Metroid, i want to get a good solid 7 or so hours on it again, but its reflexive to get it under 2.
Shadowrun (snes), that game is awesome the first time through, then its addition in 12th grade.
Majoras Mask.

World of warcraft. It's awesome when you're first starting out.
Other than that, Resident evil 4 and Silent hill 3.

Lol I jsut watched part of that video and that girl sucks! She is so fucking slow when attacking things on what I assume was the easy mode (judging by how crappy the AI was) LOL, she wouldn't last two seconds in a multplayer game of any kind.. Coudn't they have picked someone who has actually played an FPS before to showcase their game?
Oh and on topic, Baldurs gate series

Halo.
The first time I actually experienced Halo was the PC port. After an hour playing it I promptly uninstalled it and adopted a "Halo is overrated garbage" mindset. Serendipitously, I got a friend who had an Xbox and forced me to give the original version a try. I've been a fan ever since. To this day though, I still feel cheated out of the first time experience almost every other Halo fan had.

God of War 1 & 2. Metal Gear Solid 1. Resident Evil 4. Half Life 1 and 2. Oblivion. Quake 2 and 4.
Any of those. I would be happy playing them all over again anytime.

Because the experience of playing it the first time was so much fun. You wish you could play it again and again and retain that same sense of awe and wonder you did the very first time you played it.

Halo 1
Half-Life 2 + Ep.1
GTA series
Sonic the Hedgehog 1 and 2
Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
Call of Duty 1
Kingdom Hearts series.
Halo 1 for sure, there's some thing about Halo 1's soul that gives it such nostalgia, i wish i could play it again on the original xbox with the original duke controller.

Pokemon Red - I wasted countless hours, days, maybe even straight weeks of my life just playing this game and exploring its world. It was just such a fun game...
Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time - See above. The vast landscapes, the myriad of different enviroments, worlds, people....it was beautiful, it was a work of art. I got a unique rush from playing it, that made it so addicting, amazing, and open, I'll never feel that again. Or so I thought, untill...
Okami - Unique, atmospheric, flavorful, and different. It ain't no Zelda. But it's so different - it's perfect.
Grand Theft Auto 3 - I was just so blown away by this game, I couldn't put it down. I was like 10 er something at the time.

That's the only series that stands out as I wish I could forget the plot and replay. The Room was just ok, but it really couldn't ruin the series no matter how bad it was.
