It's Medal of Honor. That series just needs to retire.

Medal of Honour is ace, then again i love anything ww2. Well can't really comment on the demo that much, seen as my pc can't really run it. Looked pretty decent though. BTW it got 88% PC Gamer UK

oh and im on about the pc ones, don't know what the console versions of medal honour were like.

The demo was decent.
Bad: The AI was very predictable and some animations were off, the demo level was very dull after completing one mission, and the guns sounded odd. I'd give it a 6/10 from the demo.

Yea the gun sounds were terrible, the thompson sounded like a fuckin toy. The AI was bad though because they were 1 on a scale of 1-10. The Italians are terrible soldiers, I have a feeling once you start fighting better troops the game will be a lot more fun. Also the cover system is great once you get used to it.

7/10

Overall, it felt too clumsy. The cover system didn't really feel solid. I didn't even realize there was one when I first played it. I just suddenly clung to a wall, but not really. It didn't feel as tight as other games, which might actually be a positive. It's hard to explain. The shooting felt very clumsy, which is probably because of the framerate. The Thompson could hit fuck all; I fired whole clips at soldiers in front of me and did not hit anything. The sensitivity seemed to be too little at point blank range and too much at far distances. Of course, this could be the framerate talking again. The animation is awful; I saw Italians stand up from cover in three frames. The ragdoll seems to be spontaneously exaggerated; sometimes it is well done and other times I shoot a soldier in the belly and he flies into a wall at full speed. The parachute drops too fast (high drop height is unrealistic, but what is realistic in a Medal of Honor game?) and there really is no purpose in dropping in any different place on the map. I dropped on the roof of city hall the second time around and had no challenge taking out soldiers.

The bad AI for the Italians is explainable; they are supposed to be unprofessional. Still, they seemed smarter than the Airborne, who rushed full squads of Italians, stayed back when nobody was there, repeatedly ran out in front of my fire, and were generally useless. There were some stupid moments for the Italians, but it seemed that this game sent the previously unheard of 82nd Retard Paratroopers to clear out the town. It is bad beyond words, especially when the developers promised so much. It's a damn shame.

I turned everything down to lowest settings except screen (1440x900) and I had trouble getting a solid 30+ frames. My system can run nearly everything solidly at low-mid settings but this game brought it to its knees. Hell, the menu lagged at any setting. Was it too hard to run a video of in-game planes? There's no purpose in using the game engine here.

The sound was awful; it didn't support my setup, it was too quiet, and it was all fucked up. I kept hearing sounds from nowhere with stereo and 5.1 was rarely accurate. The music really felt out of place; it did not match the atmosphere at all.
