Why was it never released for PC? No demand? A money thing? It troubles me that a game could be kept from the most powerful gaming platform there is.

I got CoD3 with my Xbox 360 and I thought it was awesome. Maybe that's because I've never played CoD2, I don't know, but I thought it was a fun game.

CoD3 was done by a different developer, plus as was already mentioned, PC gamers would not have put up with it.

cod3 was developed by treyarch instead of infinity ward like usual, treyarch specializes in console games. plus it sucked balls

Like all WW2 games, the single player in all CoD games has been excellent. Multiplayer is intolerable for me however. When i buy a WW2 game, i expect the other people in the world buying it have the same keen interest in WW2, WW2 era tactics, WW2 era weapons and tanks, the battles, that sort of thing. But no, that's asking too much. Instead, when playing online, you get a bunch of 13 year olds running around the map with a PPSH, or a Tommy Gun, spraying and praying all over the place, not aiming down the sights, not stopping to fire, not taking cover when fired at and worst of all... Shouting PWN3D everytime they spray the shit out of you.

I'll be crouched down or prone, moving around slowly, checking the corners, aiming down the sights of my Kar98 or my M1 garand, then suddenly out of nowhere some 13 year old dick jumps around a corner and runs around me in a circle spraying bullets until i die, then screams PWN3D!!!!1shift1

And all this makes me wonder... If you want to play a multiplayer game where you never take your finger off of W, never crouch or go prone and where EVERYBODY sprays and prays, why not buy Quake, or Unreal Tournament? Bunch of fucking dicks i tell you.

i used to play cod competitively and i play cod2 now, and ive racked up about 1600 hours gaming total. this really bugs me. its the game bro. if you dont like the game then dont play it. Cod2 is one of the biggest games next to wow and css. but imo, the ww2 video games are done (competitively) once cod2 dies. only for a while because its a dying genre.

however.. im supposing you want a game thats realistic and thats just as cool, but as far as gameplay goes i could care less as long as its fun.
