Here is an ideal service for those who want to prank call, but have issues with recording the calls and/or setting up voice changer programs. Spoofcard.com has a service that not only spoofs the caller ID (allows you enter any number you please to show up on the mark's caller ID), but it also allows you to record the phone call and has a voice changer built in. You are in essence, killing 3 birds (spoofing, recording, voice changing) with one stone.
The service is $10/hour and the calls, once recorded are loaded on to your page on the site. It's private, so only you can have access to the call. Once you have access to the call, you can download it and upload it anywhere you like. Although, I like to post free services for prank calling, this is a pretty good deal you are getting. Also, a simple, but funny prank call to make that requires the use of a spoof card goes like this... Call up a close friend and spoof their mother's (sister's or girlfriend's) number and when they ask why you are calling from so and so's number, you can act like you got caught or whatever you can to milk the awkward moment further. Lots of ideas to make use of spoofing a number for a prank call. Also comes in handy if you are trying to present yourself at work, but are really somewhere else.
You can test the service out for free, as they allow free spoofing for 2 minutes only, with no recording and no voice changing allowed. With the prank calling idea I mentioned above, 2 minutes is plenty of time to pull of such a simple prank. Also, you can record the call with a "sound recorder" that records anything that plays via the soundcard.
