so i saw them on the 24th and it was damn good i'll say, all of their greatest songs back to back, and they still had all the energy they did back in the 90's. Great concert but holy shit, we're talking thousands and thousands of people, alpine valley is a very large outdoor theatre and the hills were filled with walls of people. The line to PARK stretched for about 2 miles all the way to the interstate. In fact the line to park was so long, some people actually missed some of the show. Rage started at 9, the show started at 7, it was insane.
i got lucky and had pit tickets and i loved it. what's even more amazing is that the people actually fucking ripped a row of seats out and a goddamn bar rail right out of the ground. Lots of injuries as well but nobody could get out, because it was too packed. Somebody left with a row of seats as a souveneir. I really regret not bringing my camera. Thankfully though, by the number of crane cameras i saw, i wouldn't be surprised if this was filmed for a live dvd.
here's some youtube videos of the show.
the mud was insane, though this video shows much earlier in the day, put it this way, when rage came on, those entire hills were filled.

this one shows a bit of the crowd, but it reaches much much farther back and higher as well.

after 5 minutes of the loudest chants ever, we get our encore of 3 songs, the final being our favorite. Killing in the Name.
