That's right, folks at EBaums! I am trying to make several new celebrity sound file soundboards for uses that include those who want to use it to make prank calls! But I don't think I have the right program! Right now I have Soundboard Maker 0.1 by Softpedia, but I'm just limited to uploading soundfile clips into the particular button! (There's not even any labled buttons for me to use, and I can't even name any of the soundclips at all! It's just 36 blank buttons in a square formation and 4 blank buttons on the right with no name on them!) Is there any other program besides Soundboard Maker 0.1 by Softpedia that's free to download for those of us newbees who wants to make new soundboards? Please provide the link on this thread! Thank you.

The way to go about it is to actually get a copy of Flash and learn the basics, buttons, adding sounds, etc. I haven't seen a simple soundboard creation software yet, although I wouldn't think it would be very difficult to create if the right set of people were to work on it. Also, check out the thread we have on how to create a soundboard...

I tried getting the free trial version of flash, but my PC isn't powerful enough to run the program! Plus, when I downloaded it and tried to install it, my PC overheated and shut down, thus resulting in the program file having only a bunch of "read-me" files. I have a laptop btw! Is there anything else, or am I gonna have to just either upgrade to a powerful computer and/or fork over the $600 price they really want! I can't afford the heavy money price for it, ya know!:banghead:

Not sure why its not working on your laptop, but if you want, you could give SwishMax a try. It's a lighter load on your computer and much more beginner friendly and you will end up with similar output as Flash. I don't suggest purchasing Flash, as it costs $699, when you can by a brand new solid laptop for that kind of money. SwishMax (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SWiSH_Max) for more info. In the end though, I'd suggest trying to get rid of the laptop, if it is indeed as old as it sounds and upgrade to something new and eventually get your hands dirty with Flash, as it is a more professional program.
