This thread is for the discussion of instructional music videos. Post a list of the ones you have and recommend some. I'm open to all instructional videos, but I primarily play bass, so I'm keen to know about any good bass videos that I'm missing out on.
Also, if anyone has John Myung - Progressive Bass Concepts, I'd kill to have that.
Jaco Pastorius - Modern Electric Bass
Felipe Andreoli (Angra bassist) - random video
Victor Wooten - Extreme Bass Technique
John Abercrombie - Concepts for Jazz Guitar Improvisation
Zakk Wylde - Pentatonic Hardcore (lawl)
Tommy Emmanuel - some random DVD
Zen of Screaming
Mike Portnoy - Progressive Drum Concepts
John Petrucci - Rock Discipline
Jordan Rudess - Keyboard Wizardry

Portnoy - Liquid Drum Theater
Jordan Rudess - Keyboard Wizardry
Jordan Rudess - Keyboard Madness : Mastering Live Performance
All of these are awesome, I obviously value the Rudess vids more being a keyboard player, but they are all tremendous nonetheless.

I have a "Hot Licks" video (yes, actually on VHS) with Vinnie Moore showing some techniques and stuff that I bought in the late 80's.
That's the only tutorial video that I've ever seen or bought.
EDIT; I do have Neil Peart's Anatomy of a Drum Solo DVD, which is kind of instructional I suppose, but as I'm not a drummer it's not very instructional for me. It's just a fucking awesome opportunity to see Neil in action.

the only instructionalish video I've got is extreme metal drumming 101 by Flo Mounier. It's pretty cool I guess... not much I didn't already know on it. but I like seeing how to play some Cryptopsy songs

Thanks for posting that - I didn't know it was freely available. Friedman is a wonderful guitarist.

Cool, I think I might get hold of those 2 drum videos, just for interest.
