As many of you know, I've hosted a heavy metal show on my campus radio station since February. What only some of you know is that it's at a new time for the fall semester: Friday morning from Midnight - 2am EST. I keep plugging it in various threads, but this is probably the best way to get your attention. If you don't care (i.e., don't like metal), then you probably shouldn't be reading this thread. Anyway, most of you know what to expect, but I've provided archived playlists for some examples. I very much like requests, so you can send them in as I'm on the air, or you can request in advance in this thread. Oh yeah, I realize that this timeslot really sucks for you British folk. Here are all the necessary links you may need:

Online stream (high quality): http://wmucradio.com/wmuc-low.m3u
Archived playlists: http://wmucradio.com/station/profiles/203

Just to clear up confusion, my show is on Friday morning which is Thursday night going into Friday. I'll throw another reminder in the "What are you listening to ATM" thread right before I leave for the station.

I think that's all I wanted to say...

What type of metal? Just metal in general?

Mostly I play traditional-styled heavy metal, quite a bit of death and thrash, some black, and a little bit of power. It also changes on a show-to-show basis. Would you like me to play some Sepultura?

I've only been with the station for 3 semesters. Some people have been there for many, many more and they get first dibs on their time. This was the best available time that didn't conflict with the rest of my schedule.

It depends on which part of Australia because there's more than one time zone. You're probably in GMT+10 and I'm in GMT-5, so I would be on from 3-5pm on Friday for you. You can stream the broadcast online from www.wmucradio.com
