I remember several years ago I used to have this game(or maybe just a demo of it) where you basically had to solve Rube Goldberg puzzles. It was like on the screen you had all these different items, and you had an inventory of items to use in certain places in order to meet a goal.

A simple one would be somthing like a basket and seesaw on the screen and then you had to place the basketball and bowling ball in the right place on the seesaw to make the basketball fly into the basket.

And then there were crazy shit-tough ones like turn on the light to heat up the water which will make the balloon rise, but first you have to drop somthing on the scissors to cut the balloon string and then the balloon will float up and bump the candle which will light the fireworks that will scare the cat and make him run into the cage, etc...

If anyone remembers a game like this or knows where I could download it, please tell me where. Thanks.

EDIT:
And also there was like a freeplay mode where you could build your own challenge for someonw else to try to figure out, and you had to give them the inventory and all...

Yes. This was "The Incredible Machine". I love this game. The best version is "The Incredible Machine: Even More Contraptions".
