An online web browser, thats inside of a web browser?

I was wondering if there's such thing as a web based web browser. Some of you will know what I'm talking about. So is this all in my mind or is it real?

yes there is actualy. I saw one a long time ago that emulated IE5 and some of the older browsers. Its purpose was to check your websites to see if they were compatible. Here i found it, but its extremely slow because the guy runs it on a very old server http://www.dejavu.org/
