There is some rumors about gta coming in october for ps3, who knows if that is the big Annoucement sony has for october 12t.

Yeah that is why i put rumors of it coming out this month.
I don't think it will myself, just seeing what your insight on it was.

Well I remember in an interview that they said the PS3 version was 2 weeks behind the 360 version, so I doubt that its true. If its behind the 360 version and the 360 version wont be ready until next year, than it probably wont happen.

Didn't MS pay rockstar to make it come out at the same time as ps3 or was it for the exculsive downloadable material they get?

There's no way GTA4 would be released next week for PS3.

Sony's big announcement will be something lame, like streaming picture slideshows from your PS3 to your PSP.

Didn't MS pay rockstar to make it come out at the same time as ps3 or was it for the exculsive downloadable material they get?

MSFT paid Rockstar for the downloadable material, I think it was Rockstars decision to make them release at the same time.

Umm...right. The only reason GTA4 got pushed back into 2008 was because of Sony. The version for 360 is ready, but apparently rockstar was having a bit of trouble with the PS3s dev kit..which really isn't a surprise at all.

They actually never siad why gta4 was pushed back, i have searched around. people just assume it is because of the ps3 because of the trouble with making games with it right now.

While they've said the PS3 version was 2 weeks behind the 360 version, they have also said that the 360 version had some framerate issues.

Anyone have any info if and when a PC version will be available? I'm assuming it'd be 6-8 months after the console versions, but does anyone know whether it's confirmed that there will be a PC version?

The big announcement will probally be a price cut of $100 or so.
