i just scalled a pizza place and a man picked up i started insulting him with arnold and he got angry. then i called back and another guy picked up i insulted him with arnold again and he said i just dialed *69 or 7 or something and that he will call something donno what lol . anyways can he do anything? =/

Dial *67 before you dial then caller ID doesnt work but they can still dial *69 which dials the last number. Just dont pick up for a while after doing it.

Apart from hunting you down and beating the shit out of you they cant do much unless they recorded it
but it is of course VERY illegal

Isn't it best to do pranks with a third party telecoms provider - not the comany you rent your phone line from. This way it is harder to trace i think - especially if you just buy a phone card or something.

Also, it is VERY cheap to make international calls these days via some companies, and presumably the law is less clear on such calls. So people in the US should call the UK or Australia etc, and vice versa.

why are you calling the same place more than once. It's very hard to prove harassement when you only prank someplace once. When you begin to repeatedly call places you start to get in trouble like you did, it's very unlikely that the pizza place will actually do anything about it.

I believe that they have to use #57 3 times before they can legally prove harassment and involve the police. It may vary from state to state and some states even put a time limit on how often the calls have to be done before they'll do anything.
