So what do you guys think about this game? Apparently, the game is good since IGN gave it a 9.0 (http://ps3.ign.com/articles/824/824614p1.html). I found the demo to be fun, but it left me wanting more. Now after reading the review I might just pick this game up.

I liked everything about the demo. The haunting music, character designs and detailed whimsical artwork, the comic book-style story telling, and huge bosses that actually require some thought to defeat. (Kinda like if Death Note/Nightmare Before Christmas met Legend of Zelda bosses). Although the demo was a bit linear, I noticed there were a bunch of branching pathways that were blocked off, so hopefully the real game will allow for more exploration. I can't wait to hear the full story, the small portion we get wasn't enough. The sixaxis is implemented really well too, and makes finishing off enemies all the more satisfying as you yank their souls from their bodies.
Going pick this up a bit after its release date though, cause I'm dying for Guitar Hero 3 and that's going to take a chunk out of my wallet...

Yea that how I felt as well. Although it may seem like nothing special just yanking on the six axis controller to get their souls, it really does add to the gameplay and gives you sense of gratification, especially if you try to yank more than one soul at a time to get a sort of chain or combo going. This game is really the first to use the six-axis perfectly. However, I think the Ratchet and Clank game might take this title soon.

Ah, this should answer your question. It's a bit more in-depth in terms of describing the plot than the rest of the (mixed) reviews out there.

In a very broad nutshell: The theme is death, revolves around murder cases, you exploit the deceased to obtain answers to give to the living about the crimes.
