Seems retarded, I've been going around Crysis Beta forums a bit and found nothing like this.
The fact he doesn't disclose his hardware is also funny ... could be an AMD with a ATI card ...

^^ not only AMD doesnt make card but they also own ATI so they make them for them. i think you were thinking of Nvidia. i myself did the transition from ATI and now i own an 8600 GT Nvidia, never had problems with crysis or any other game. people dont understand most problems they find is game related and not their PC, thats why its a beta ffs.

I don't see how a game can modify or delete major system files, sounds like this guy is mistaking this problem with his incompatible hardware (ATI video card). This is nothing new, it's BETA and Crysis doesn't have full support for ATI boards. Nvidia is really the way to go.

Yea... a video card is deleting system files...
35% of the affected people are using Nvidia... hmm. Someones a little butthurt the 2900 Pro sweeps Nvidia out of the water.

^^ what? i just looked at the poll again to make sure and it still says most systems having corruption are using ATI. am i missing something? the fact that a card get 10 fps more than another doesnt matter if it causes more problems than graphics.

What the hell are you going on about? Didn't you read, it says most people are having problems with ATI boards. In my experience ATI boards are more prone to graphics problems than Nvidia mainly because of their drivers.
