Yea its been out for a week or something now, just we are more passionate about football than you's. Pro Evolution Soccer (winning eleven) always sells better in europe than america and other places. I think also you don't get the online play that comes with it?
Anyway ive always preferred pro evo to fifa, but everyone has thier preferences.

Fifa has better graphics, more game modes, more licenses, but it's gameplay sucks compared to PES.
That's why PES has always been better.
Yea, fifa's gameplay is fucking awful

ive been playing both the fifa 08 and winning eleven/proevolution 08 and i gotta say fifa has the better graphics, and the liscences and the gameplay is VERY REALISTIC. it looks almost like real people are playing. on the other hand i gotta say WE did get a lot better graphics (i previously played it on ps2) but it is very fast. if you read other players reviews you will read about how slower and more realistic the fifa gameplay this year is compared to WE
dont get me wrong ive been a WE fan but this year i think imma go with fifa

I've been with PES/ISS/WE from the very start and I think this is the worst one they've ever come out with... The transfers aren't up to date, some players are missing, some players are there even though they should be missing, there is a slow down issue on PS3, and the online is an absolute fucking catastrophe.
I'd save your money. And if it was a choice between the worst PES ever and the best FIFA ever (which it is), I'd honestly go with FIFA. It hurts to say that.

its not that bad, the slowdown is on the replays which sometimes do not meet a specific frame rate, doesnt affect gameplay. Online is ok, i agree with the transfers, they could of waited a week until the finalised the game. but to say its the worst one is ott, i think its still better than pes6

Well, I've been a die hard PES guy for a while now. I was impressed with the FIFA demo and pissed that WE2008 was gonna take so long to come out so I bought FIFA to fill the time. The WE2008 demo finally got released in the US so I quickly downloaded it, and I gotta say, after playing FIFA for a while now, I was literally laughing while playing the new Winning Eleven. C'mon guys, get serious for a bit, the new winning eleven is laughably bad. It's flat out garbage.
FIFA may not be as good as pro evo/winning eleven has been back in the day, but it's far better than anything Konami is offering on a next gen console. The Be A Pro setting and a few other somewhat innovative gameplay scenarios make up for the lack of Master League. And Winning Eleven is just so bad this year.

Pro evo has been the shit the gameplay has been great, you can buy a memory card of ebay for 99p with all the kits. So that hasn't been a problem. Pro still edges fifa but boy is fifa catching up, all this money konami are making off pro and this is the best they can come up with is Shit online play? Now: Pro>Fifa 2010: Fifa>pro with the way its going it really is going down.

I've bought the new PES for PC and although it is remarkably different to the last game I'm getting used to it and enjoying it although they have left out a number of things that were in the last game:
. Fast forward through replays
. Oliver Kahn (not entirely Konami's fault though)
. Random selection match (even if it didn't get used much)
. Doesn't save my settings on replays
. Menu is a bit clumsy to navigate
. At the end of each match you can't view each individual players stats
. Some other things that escape me atm
Plus tackling is fecking hard and a large number of bookings seem a bit harsh. I still have yet to score a wonder goal with someone like Seedorf or Lampard from 30+ yards (25 yards is my record so far), It is a good game but they've put in lots of things that have made the game bettter but for some reason haven't included things that made the game good anyway.
