The gamefaqs character battle is held one time per year. They put up about 128 characters and on each day you must vote for 1 out of 4. The best one goes to the next round, etc. until the finals.

Usually it's Link that always wins, but the L-Block is gaining popularity, beating masterchief, dante and snake today.
